Dr. Nessler has always been an innovator in injury prevention and passionate about education. With his development of the Athletic Movement Index and subsequent commercial release of the ViMove+ AMI, his system has been used to impact injury rates and athletic performance in over 90,000 athletes across 5 countries. His system and the associated data base has amassed over 333M data points related to athletic movement. Until the advent of the ViMove+ AMI, capturing of human movement data at this level has never been done before. With mass data at this level, it was soon very evident that what was being learned about movement in athletes could be applied to tactical athletes.
In Dr. Nessler’s book, “How To Build A Badass Firefighter”, he shares how these same concepts and knowledge can be applied to reduce injury rates and improve performance in the tactical athlete.
