In 2015, Dr. Nessler partnered with DorsaVi (an Australian Tech Company) to launch the ViMove+ AMI. Since it’s international release, the ViMove+ AMI has become a standard of practice for assessing an athlete’s movement for performance enhancement, injury risk and for making return to sport decisions following ACL reconstruction. With data on 90,000+ athletes across 5 countries, the ViMove+ AMI is the basis for Dr. Nessler’s Book (How To Build A Badass Firefighter) and his ACL Certification Course (ACL Rehabilitation and Prevention: A Movement Based Approach). Developed as a tool to help athletes, the ViMove+ AMI has also become an invaluable tool for the sports medicine community to learn about athlete movement. What is learned from the ViMove+ AMI has led to new iterations that have had profound impacts on sports medicine. That is why Dr. Nessler and DorsaVi are proud to announce the latest version including time to stability. This measure has been directly associated with injury risk and will be added to the plethora of data that Dr. Nessler and his team use to continually innovate better treatment strategies to improve rehab outcomes, improve athletic performance and decrease risk for injury.
