On this iconic day in American History, Sept. 11th, Dr. Nessler had the honor and privilege of presenting at the the International Women In Fire Conference.  During his 4 1/2 hour session, Dr. Nessler presented on “Building a Badass Firefighter From The Ground Up”.  Based on his book, How to Build A Badass Firefighter, Dr. Nessler was able to present to an international crowd on how to mitigate risk for injury and improve performance in female firefighters.  With firefighters from all over the globe, including Switzerland, Dr. Nessler was able to share his Tactical Performance Screening Tool to aid firefighters globally in identifying factors that put tactical athletes at risk for injury and decreased performance.  “To present to this international audience of first responders on this historic day was truly one of the most humbling experiences of my career”, said Dr. Nessler, “to help these women who put their lives on the line everyday is why I love what I do.”
